Marisa Farr


Marisa is honoured to work with clients and strives to build a therapeutic relationship in which people can discover their strengths, process their pain, and develop new perspectives. While life can bring many challenges, there is hope in the healing journey and in making room for new experiences. Marisa’s approach is systemic, experiential and holistic drawing on modalities that include Client Centered Play Therapy, expressive therapies, Emotion Focused Therapy, attachment, Satir Growth Method, and CBT.

Areas of counselling practice include: Anxiety, depression, family of origin issues, self worth, grief & loss, trauma, abuse, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Marisa holds a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the B.C. Association of Clinical Counsellors.
