Most people find themselves seeking a counsellor to help navigate through pain and difficulty. I believe that although pain is a part of us, it doesn’t have to dictate our future. As a counsellor, my goal is not just to help you to move away from pain, but moreover, to help you move towards living life. You will find me warm, relatable, and at times challenging as I nudge you towards growth. Change and healing take work, but living on the other side of healing is worth the effort.
I work mostly in the areas of trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression, adult survivors of childhood abuse, sexual abuse, dysfunctional and/or abusive relationships as well as addictions. Our sessions together always include the influence of evidence based approaches.
It is a brave decision to seek help but I would encourage you: the pain is worth facing and the journey toward change is worth pursuing.
