About
I believe everyone is on a journey. Counselling is a chance to look at what the journey has brought you so far, to let go of what is no longer needed, and to re-orient toward a future of wholeness and authenticity. I believe in treating each person with warmth and respect, with a little humour along the way, because who said healing and self-growth could only be serious?
I have a Masters of Counselling degree and am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BCACC. I have over 15 years experience working with children, youth, and families in the public system, as well as adults. I have specialized training in Emotion Focused Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and EMDR.
I have experience with:
-Anxiety
-Depression
-Trauma
-Child and Youth development
-Substance misuse
-Stress Management
-Personal growth
I have a particular interest in Obessive Compulsive Disorder.
I believe in the power of families and individuals to heal, and that they just need someone to believe in them until they do! It would be my privilege to be that someone for you.
