Kassidy has an undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. She is registered and in good standing with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors and the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists. Kassidy has worked in helping professions for several years and is described as empathetic, compassionate, personable, approachable, and relatable. She is dedicated to supporting clients to the best of her ability and believes that through client and therapist collaboration, the client’s goals can be achieved. She also takes aholistic approach to treatment, using her past experiences and her knowledge about human biology to help clients acheive their treatment goals.

Kassidy aims to incorporate all aspects of an individual during treatment: psychological, physical, and spiritual components to move towards healing. Kassidy takes a person-centred approach to treatment abut draws on other approaches when applicable, such as cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, narrative therapy, emotion-focused therapy, solution-focused therapy, family systems perspective, and trauma-informed approaches. Kassidy also values integrating a faith-based perspective to the healing journy if the client is interested in exploring this area of their life. Kassidy seeks to support clients who struggle with a variety of life-controlling issues that stem from past pain, such as anxiety, depression, self-harm, life transitions, relationship conflict, addiction, eating disorders, personal development, sport or performance challenges, grief and loss, and trauma.
