KELSEY VEINOT
COUNSELLING ASSOCIATE

About

Hi! I’m Kelsey, an intern therapist with a person-centred, humanistic, and trauma-informed
approach to counselling. I also draw from attachment theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy
(EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and holistic systems approaches to support clients
in ways that feel right for them.

I believe in the power of safe, compassionate connection—especially during life’s tough
moments. My goal is to offer a space where you can open up, reflect, and get to know yourself
more deeply, particularly if you don’t have many places in your life where that feels possible. I
bring warmth, humour, and positive energy into the counselling space, using levity as a healing
tool when it’s helpful. Therapy doesn’t have to be heavy all the time—we’re human, and I
honour that in every session.

I welcome people with a wide range of concerns and aim to meet each person with empathy,
curiosity, and respect. As a student therapist, I’m still learning, but I’m committed to providing
the best care I can. I’m supported by a supervisor and a team of colleagues to ensure that the
support I offer is thoughtful, ethical, and grounded.

If you’re looking for a space to feel seen, heard, and supported, I’d be honoured to walk
alongside you.
