I bring experience, education, and passion to my practice. With over a decade of professional experience counselling children, teens, and adults, I help support them through anxiety, stress, parenting, spiritual questions, and other life challenges. My education includes Bachelor of Arts in Caregiving and Counselling from Columbia Bible College and a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Trinity Western University, as well as continuing education. I am passionate about supporting clients who struggle with anxiety and assisting them to find ways to interact in their daily life without feeling hindered by their mental health. I work from a client-centered perspective, meaning this is all about your process. Using a combination of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, solution focused, emotional-focused and/or play/art therapy, we will create a plan around your goals. I approach counselling from a holistic perspective, recognizing the various aspects of our lives – physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. As such, I am comfortable integrating a faith-based perspective, if you desire to be a part of your counselling journey.
