Nicole has a relaxed and down to earth style. She is approachable, trustworthy and easy to talk to.  Nicole enjoys coming alongside people and their needs, collaborating with them to create a vision for growth and healing. She is a natural motivator who empowers people to work towards their goals and realize their unique purpose and capacities. Her ability to offer a fresh perspective with insight and wisdom encourages her clients to come out of places where they may have felt stuck or helpless. Nicole’s personal life journey has involved overcoming significant challenges and adjustments. These experiences of healing and wholeness enable Nicole to be a sensitive and understanding companion in the counselling process.

Nicole has extensive experience in child and adolescent mental health.  She is able to offer a personable service tailored to the needs of each child, which can include creative forms of therapy including play or art. Nicole’s experience and training in trauma, attachment and child protection, enables her to work with clients on establishing more secure relationships between a child and their parent/caregivers plus heal trauma and attachment wounds.

Nicole’s interest in multiculturalism along with her experience working in cross cultural settings have equipped her to be a culturally competent counsellor who is interested in the personal stories and experiences of her clients in light of their cultural background.

Nicole holds a Master of Arts degree in Counselling and Psychology.  She is a Certified Clinical Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.  Nicole is also a member of the Professional Association of Christian Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
