Becky Schatz


While having been a practicing counsellor since 2009, Becky joined the Cares team more recently at the beginning of 2010.

Becky is passionate about helping her clients discover resources they may not have been aware of before, and enjoys equipping them with the tools they need to bring about positive change and growth in their lives. To facilitate this process, Becky draws from a couple of different approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Systemic Therapy, depending on each client’s unique needs.

Becky works primarily with families, including adolescents and children in the following areas:


   Eating disorders



Becky has a Masters Degree in Clinical Counselling and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the B.C. Association of Clinical Counsellors.
